Business Development Manager
- Description: Business Development Manager
- Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing
- Job Summary: Responsible in providing support to the Director of Sales and Marketing in overseeing the sales operations while generating and implementing strategies to level up the revenue opportunities of the resort.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- • Assists the Director of Sales and Marketing in support of sales operations and work closely with reservations / front office departments as well as resort operations to maximize revenues
- • Responsible for identifying, developing, nurturing and growing new source of business
- • Attends major sales / PR related functions and active involvement in industry associations or professional organizations
- • Maintains all sales systems, such as sales records and reports, traces of history andpotentials, logs of groups not previously accommodated and mailing lists
- • Ensures the prompt and systematic servicing of all business accounts (i.e. project management and related admin such as contracting, booking, communicating with concerned departments, and following up with the client for feedback and future bookings)
- • Assists the DOSM in the development and implementation of marketing activities and sales campaigns as needed
- • Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing or the General Manager, as deemed necessary in the operations
- Minimum Requirements:
- • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Hospitality / Tourism Management, or Marketing Communication related courses
- • Good business sense and negotiation skills
- • Ability to meet and exceed targets
- • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours

Assistant Reservations Manager / In-House Sales
- Description: Assistant Reservations Manager / In-House Sales
- Reports to: Reservations Manager
- Job Summary:
- Responsible in assisting the Reservations Manager in all activities pertaining to Reservation Department in order to achieve the highest possible occupancy levels for the purpose of maximizing room revenues and profits.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- • Assists Reservations Manager in overseeing all aspects of Reservations including all individual, group and travel agent bookings.
- • Assists the Reservations Manager in skillful up-selling and conversion of inquiries to bookings
- • Maintains good working relations with other departments, particularly Front Office and keeps close contact with regular guests, ensuring their needs are identified, and relayed to concerned departments for service delivery
- • Assists the Reservations Manager to manage low yield rooms allocations, complimentary rooms and upgrading, group space blocking and timely wash, especially during the peak season and/or high demand days
- • Assists the Reservations Manager to ensure all rate codes are correct and updated in the Opera system
- • Assists the Reservations Manager with travel agents bookings and commissions, email responses to clients, etc
- • Tracks and prepares the necessary reports required for monthly submission to the Director of Sales and Marketing
- • Follow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the Director of Sales and Marketing
- • Keeps Front Office staff informed on all changes or developments in line with seasonal promotional rates and offers
- • To spot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals
- • Works closely with Business Development Managers in order to achieve budgeted figures
- Minimum Qualifications:
- • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, HRM or any Communication related courses
- • Good communication skills (oral and written)
- • Professional and courteous in dealing with people
- • Ability to manage assigned tasks based on required standard
- • Knowledge in MS Office

Marketing Coordinator
- Description: Marketing Coordinator
- Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing
- Job Summary: Supervises and coordinates the activities planned by sales and marketing executives. Responsible in generating presentations and proposals, providing database management, coordinating photography, putting together trade show displays, and compiling sales and inventory reports. Conducts market research and helps in the web page design, newsletters, and promotions. Provides administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Department.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- • Assists the Director of Sales and Marketing in coordinating various integrated communication and marketing activities.
- • Coordinates in the production and execution of marketing communications / marketing campaigns
- • Develops and maintains marketing collateral, rate sheets, newsletters, brochures, and many other materials related to marketing, ensures that all collaterals are updated with correct information
- • Conducts market research which includes the gathering of competitor data and analysis such as special campaigns, rate promotions, marketing efforts, theme events etc.
- • Supervises the production or implementation of marketing materials
- • Executes a wide variety of details that involve direct email, email broadcast campaigns, marketing trade shows and events, public relations, media advertisements, promotions, and other marketing plans
- • Tracks campaigns, prepares performance analysis reports of post campaign
- • Updates and monitors website content and social media accounts
- • Assists in the production of newsletters and distribution
- • Assists in the tracking and timely delivery of press releases
- • Attends tradeshows, company sponsored promotions and events, as required
- • Monitors online blogs for tracking communications related to the brand of the company
- • Provides clerical and administrative assistance to the Sales and Marketing Dept. such as encoding, filing, compiling, database management
- • Conducts regular inventory of the department supplies and ensures that proper inventory level is observed at all times
- • Handles the department’s petty cash fund
- • Coordinates with other departments when necessary
- • Other jobs as may be assigned by the DOSM
- Special Skills:
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop
- • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- • Effective project management skills
- • Sound understanding of marketing principles
- • Adept of the latest technologies and ability to identify its applicability to marketing
- • Effective team player
- Minimum Requirements:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or any business related course
- • At least two (2) year experience in a five star hotel or property
- • Knowledge on-line marketing and social media functions is an advantage
